  • Goodrich Academy students use Fitchburg State labs Saturday, January 10th, 2015 FITCHBURG — Goodrich Academy students recently traveled with teacher Sara-Maria Goguen to the new Science Center at Fitchburg State University. The students were enrolled in a first-trimester class of chemistry at Goodrich. Through a collaboration between the college and the alternative high school, they had the benefit of studying and performing experiments in the university's state-of-the-art laboratory facility. The students were studying how to neutralize an acid and how to tell when neutralizationhad occurred. They all had spent prior time learning safety procedures in the laboratory and about the equipment they would be using for their experiments.
